Steve Perryman, A Spur Forever !!!

Looking for THE ideal Christmas (or birthday) present for a Tottenham fan -

or indeed ANY football fan who remembers how the game used to be played

and what loyalty in football was REALLY about ?

34 years after his initial book "A Man For All Seasons" was published and fifty years

after his Tottenham debut, STEVE PERRYMAN has finally written an updated autobiography.

Playing under Tottenham's two most successful managers, Bill Nicholson and

Keith Burkinshaw, we all know about his successful stint at White Hart Lane which

brought two winners' medals in each of the F.A. Cup, Football League Cup, &

UEFA Cup (and also included that difficult few years in the mid-1970's),

but since that initial publication in 1985, his career has included a brief playing

stint at Oxford United, managerial spells at Brentford and Watford, a return to

Tottenham as assistant manager, a successful spell in Japan, an influential position

at getting Exeter City established back in the Football League, and finally his

current advisory role to MK Dons. But as the title suggests,

Steve will rightly be remembered as 'A Spur Forever' !!!
